Solvent extraction removes waxes while concentrating the triterpenoid saponin hederacoside C to ≥10 %, yielding a neutral-tasting, carrier-free ingredient for cough-ease syrups, respiratory gummies, expectorant capsules, throat-soothing drink sticks, and chest-rub creams.
