Infused Oils: Whole Botanicals Steeped in Your Choice of Carrier
An infused oil is botanical material steeped in a carrier oil and then filtered out. What remains is the carrier, holding whatever the steeping drew from the plant. There is no concentration step, no distillation and no solvent — which is why a macerate carries no assay figure and goes into a formulation at a far higher inclusion rate than an extract.
Every oil here is made to order from a single botanical and a single plant part, in a choice of carrier oils selected at checkout. The carrier is confirmed on the per-lot CoA. Leaf, root, bark, seed and flower from the same species are listed as separate products, because they are separate trade items.
Infused Oil
Botanical steeped in a carrier, then filtered out. No assay, no ratio — a macerate, not a concentrate.
Oil-Soluble Extract
A concentrate at a stated active loading, with an assay figure. Use it where a label claim governs the brief.
Essential Oil
The distilled volatile fraction, sold neat. Orders of magnitude stronger than a macerate. Never interchangeable.
Carrier Oil
The base oil on its own, with nothing steeped into it. For formulators who infuse in house.

Root, bark, leaf, seed and flower grades are listed as separate products here for exactly that reason, and the carrier is a variant rather than a fixed choice, so a formula calling for sesame and one calling for coconut are the same SKU.
Cosmetic & Personal-Care Formulators
Balms, salves, body oils, scalp and hair oils, and the oil phase of emulsified products. A macerate goes in at a much higher inclusion rate than an extract, since it is the carrier rather than a concentrate â plan the oil phase around that. Carrier choice drives both the finished oil and the cost, jojoba and olive sitting well above the other three.

Made-to-order supply with no minimum order quantity, so a pilot batch and a production run come from the same listing. Pack sizes run from 500 G for R&D through 50 Kg and above for production. Where a brief moves from trial to launch, the carrier and the botanical stay fixed and only the pack size changes.
Aromatic & Attar Producers
Maceration and enfleurage remain the classical routes for flowers that do not survive distillation well â jasmine, tuberose, champaca, kewra and frangipani are all in this range as flower macerates. These are a different material from the distilled oil of the same flower and are used as attar bases, perfume oils and solid parfum rather than as neat aromatics.
