About This Extract

Elderberry Extract Powder presents cyanidin-3-glucoside and -sambubioside anthocyanins from Sambucus nigra fruit. Elderberry is assayed by UV as total anthocyanins, which is a colour measurement — it does not distinguish elderberry from cheaper anthocyanin sources, and adulteration here is well documented. Used in immune-support formulations, functional beverage premixes and syrup bases. Require HPLC identity testing, not just a UV anthocyanin figure. Available from 250 g with no minimum order quantity.
