About This Oil

Gotu Kola Infused Oil is a maceration of Centella asiatica in the carrier oil selected at checkout. Mandukaparni is traded as brahmi in parts of India alongside Bacopa monnieri, which is offered separately here — the two are different genera sold under overlapping names. The whole plant is the material used. It suits Ayurvedic taila, balms, salves, massage oils and the oil phase of emulsified products. Maceration carries the oil-soluble fraction of the herb into the carrier; it is full-spectrum and not standardised to any marker compound. For a more concentrated oil-phase material, see Gotu Kola Oil Soluble Extract. Sesame suits classical taila; fractionated coconut and jojoba are the most oxidation-stable carriers.
