EFSA OPENS PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON ESTRAGOLE IN FENNEL SEED PREPARATIONS

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has opened a public consultation on its draft assessment of estragole in fennel seed preparations, including herbal infusions. This consultation responds to a European Commission request and allows stakeholders to comment on risk characterisation—relevant to herbal tea and wellness brands using fennel.
