About This Extract

Where capsule fill weight or stick-pack volume is the constraint, the extract gives a more concentrated greens ingredient than whole barley grass powder. Barley Grass Extract Powder provides saponarin, lutonarin and chlorophylls from young Hordeum vulgare leaf. Frequently specified in greens blends, functional beverage premixes and capsule lines. Saponarin and lutonarin are leaf-stage specific — grass harvested after jointing carries less of both. Available from 250 g with no minimum order quantity.
