About This Extract

Birch Bark Extract Powder carries betulin, betulinic acid and lupeol from Betula alba bark. Bark carries the triterpene fraction; birch leaf carries flavonoids instead, so the two parts serve entirely different formulation jobs. Preferred for cosmetic actives, topical bases and capsule formulations. Betulin content runs high in outer bark — confirm the bark layer used. Available from 250 g with no minimum order quantity.

Product QnA

Q:How does abirch bark extractdiffer from birch sap or leaf powders when I’m targeting compact servings?

A:Bark extract centers triterpenes such as betulin and betulinic acid alongside phenolics in a low-grit format that works at milligram levels across capsules, sticks and gummies. Sap and leaf builds lean toward different nutrient and polyphenol profiles and often require multi-gram portions to achieve a similar sensory cue.– in gummies), add after liquid, and document pH plus whisk/settle for two steady weeks before changing variables. This one-change method keeps your benchtop SOP reproducible at scale and makes QA sign-off straightforward.

Claim strength:High

Q:What’s a simple, compliant way to position birch bark without drifting into drug-style claims?

A:Lead with routine and formulation mechanics: a bark-derived extract to support everyday cleanliness rituals, a gentle digestive-bitter edge and antioxidant support as part of a varied diet. Keep serving math transparent, avoid cure/prevent wording, include your standard cautions, and retain the PDP disclaimer. This framing stays comfortably in structure/function territory while giving consumers a clear, repeatable habit they can follow across capsules, teas, sticks or gummies.

Claim strength:High

Q:Capsules vs beverages—how should I present serving math and handling notes on pack?

A:For beverages, express inclusion as milligrams per 250–300 ml; for gummies, state w/w %. Add concise handling notes—add after liquid; whisk 20–30 seconds; brief settle; seal promptly. Holding grams, pH and whisk/settle constant for two weeks helps consumers reproduce your bench profile at home and keeps procurement/QC aligned on sieve cut, moisture and fill weights.

Claim strength:High

Q:Any straightforward pairing ideas that keep labels short and evaluation clean?

A:Pair birch bark with one neutral companion at a time—citrus peel or ginger for cup balance, or a quercetin-rich botanical in capsule blends. Run each addition for at least a week before making further changes so you can attribute improvements. Keep habits steady (meals, sleep, steps), record grams and timing, and avoid stacking multiple strong aromatics on day one. This staggered approach supports adherence while keeping SKUs simple for ops and customer service.

Claim strength:Moderate
