About This Extract

Kaunch Oil-Soluble Extract supplies L-DOPA with prurienine and beta-sitosterol from Mucuna pruriens seed. L-DOPA is freely water-soluble, so an oil format carries it at far lower levels than a powder or aqueous extract — the sterol and alkaloid fraction is what this material actually delivers. Used in Ayurvedic topical preparations. L-DOPA is pharmacologically active and regulated in several markets; require an assay and confirm permitted status.
