About This Extract

Broccoli Extract Powder yields glucoraphanin with sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinol from Brassica oleracea floret. Glucoraphanin is the stable precursor; sulforaphane forms only where myrosinase survives processing, so the two figures are not interchangeable on a label. Used in detox-category formulations, greens blends and capsule lines. Specify whether you need glucoraphanin or active sulforaphane. Available from 250 g with no minimum order quantity.

Product QnA

Q:Extract vs raw sprout/seed powder—why choose an extract for multi-format builds?

A:Extract powder concentrates cruciferous actives like glucoraphanin into compact milligram servings with far less grit than raw sprout or seed powders that often need multi-gram scoops and heavier masking. That keeps mouthfeel clean, labels short and dose math simple across capsules, sticks and gummies.– in gummies), add after liquid, pre-wet to reduce clumps, and keep pH plus whisk/settle steps constant for two weeks before changing any variable so your benchtop SOP repeats cleanly at scale.Claim strength:High

Claim-strength scale – High = multiple human studies; Moderate = a few trials; Emerging = early lab data.

Q:Do I need a myrosinase source to “activate” glucoraphanin in beverages?

A:Glucoraphanin can convert to sulforaphane in the presence of myrosinase and moisture; temperature and pH influence this. To keep evaluation simple, many formulators either co-include a mild myrosinase source (e.g., small mustard seed extract) or run a two-part blend. Start with one inclusion level for at least a fortnight, standardize handling (pre-wet, add post-liquid, whisk 20–30 s, brief settle) and change only one variable at a time so QA can attribute improvements and procurement can lock sieve cut and moisture specs.Claim strength:Moderate

Q:Capsules vs beverages—how should serving math appear on pack?

A:For beverages, present inclusion as milligrams per 250–300 ml; for gummies, state w/w %. Add concise handling notes—add after liquid; whisk & settle; seal promptly. Holding grams, pH and whisk/settle constant for two weeks before any change makes customer directions reproducible and QA sign-off straightforward.Claim strength:High

Q:What positioning keeps statements conservative and compliant?

A:Frame broccoli around routine and support: a cruciferous extract used in a food-first plan to help maintain everyday antioxidant intake and simple greens-led habits. Avoid disease words or cure/prevent phrasing; keep servings modest; include standard cautions (space ~90 minutes from medications; consult a professional if pregnant, nursing or on medications). This keeps PDP language clear and conservative while giving users a repeatable ritual.Claim strength:High
