About This Extract

Guggul Oil-Soluble Extract supplies guggulsterones E and Z with myrrhanol and guggulsterols from Commiphora wightii oleo-gum resin. The guggulsterones are steroidal ketones and lipophilic; the gum fraction that dominates an aqueous guggul extract is polar and absent here. Used in Ayurvedic topical preparations and firming formulations. Specify the E:Z ratio rather than total resin. Commiphora wightii is assessed as critically endangered; confirm cultivated origin. Available from 500 g with no minimum order quantity.
