L-DOPA 98% from Mucuna pruriens is a high-purity levodopa isolate standardised to ≥98% by HPLC. L-DOPA (levodopa) is a catecholamine precursor amino acid and dopamine biosynthetic precursor researched for mood, cognitive, and male reproductive health applications. ⚠ L-DOPA is also an approved pharmaceutical drug (levodopa) used in Parkinson’s disease treatment. At nutraceutical concentrations it has significant drug interaction potential, particularly with MAO inhibitors, antihypertensive agents, and antipsychotics.
