Product Overview

Beetroot Powder — Organic & Conventional is a vivid, blend-ready botanical milled from the roots of Beta vulgaris. Its naturally sweet–earthy profile disperses smoothly in smoothies, RTM sticks, gummies and capsules, adding a clean, ruby hue that makes daily habits obvious without artificial colours. We offer two variants: Certified Organic (produced to NPOP/NOP/Canada Organic/EU 834/2007 standards) and Conventional food-grade—both packed under low humidity with tamper-evident seals and checked by in-house quality control (identity & key specs) for repeatable colour, flow and taste from pilot to scale.

Key bio-actives: Betalains (betanin/vulgaxanthin) · Natural nitrate matrix · Phenolic acids · Betaine · Fibre & minerals (native)

Grade: Food-grade (Conventional) · Certified Organic grade available.

Shelf-life: 18–36 months when stored below 77 °F (25 °C) < 60% RH in an airtight pack.

Form: Root powder.

Process: Gently dehydrated root → low-heat milling & fine sifting.

Wholesale price per kg: Organic and Conventional priced separately—contact us for bulk quotes.

Product QnA

Q: Beet root powder vs beet juice powder—which should I choose?

A: Root powder keeps the whole-food matrix (fibre, betalains, natural nitrate and minerals) and gives body to smoothies and gummies. Juice powder is made from clarified juice and spray-dried for faster dispersion and a cleaner, lighter drink profile. If you want a bright, clear beverage, choose juice powder; if you want thicker mouthfeel and whole-root identity, choose root powder. Compare fairly in two-week blocks at fixed grams, bottle volume and timing so taste and practicality reads remain honest.

Claim strength: High

Claim-strength scale – High = strong processing/handling consensus; Moderate = a few trials/practitioner consensus; Emerging = early or context-specific.

Q: How do I keep colour stable and avoid staining issues?

A: Add powder after water and shake briefly; keep acids moderate and avoid prolonged heat. Use opaque/UV-shielding packs and wipe tools promptly—betalains can stain porous plastics. If colour dulls, reduce pH load (citric/malic) or decrease hold time in hot vessels. Lock grams, pH and bottle size for two weeks before tweaks; single-variable edits make improvements reproducible for sachets and consumer SOPs.

Claim strength: High

Q: Organic vs Conventional—what changes on labels and ops?

A: The Organic variant follows NPOP/NOP/Canada Organic/EU 834/2007 with segregated documentation and handling; Conventional is the same food-grade root without organic certification. Do not mix grades in one finished SKU—keep distinct barcodes, batch logs and prices. Both variants are packed under low humidity with in-house QC (identity & key specs).

Claim strength: High

Q: Nitrate varies in beets—how do I keep batches consistent?

A: Natural nitrate can vary with soil and season. If precise nitrate mg isn’t required, keep your SOP focused on flavour, colour and grams-per-serve repeatability. If you need tighter control for a specific positioning, consider a defined juice powder or blend lots to a sensory/colour spec rather than chasing exact nitrate numbers. Hold timing, grams and liquid volume constant across runs so end-user experience remains consistent.
