About This Oil

White Sesame Oil (INCI Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil) is a cold-pressed seed oil balanced between linoleic at 38–48% and oleic at 35–45%. Contains sesamol, sesamin and sesamolin — lignans that give sesame oil unusually good oxidative stability for a PUFA-rich carrier. The classic Ayurvedic Abhyanga base, also used in scalp treatments and anti-ageing formulations. Contains sesame. Available from 500 g with no minimum order quantity.
