    Formulator Notes

    Primary applications: Anti-inflammatory skin serums, eczema formulations, mature skin products, omega-3 nutritional supplements

    Blends well with: Rosehip, sea buckthorn, evening primrose, vitamin E (essential antioxidant co-additive)

    Formulator note: Flaxseed Oil has the highest ALA (ω-3) content of common carrier oils. Extremely oxidation-sensitive — very short shelf life. Must be stored refrigerated; use nitrogen flush packaging. Always combine with vitamin E (1%) and rosemary CO₂ antioxidant. Industrial linseed oil (drying grade) is NOT suitable for cosmetic or food use — ensure cosmetic/food grade specification on CoA. Use at 5–20% in blends for anti-inflammatory benefit without compromising product stability.
